Kansas City Orchestra Camp

Registration is now open for the Kansas City Orchestra Camp sponsored by the Youth Symphony of Kansas City.
Open to all Kansas City area middle school age/level string players with at least two year's playing experience.
Spend a week in the vibrant Crossroads Arts District in the heart of Kansas City.
This weeklong camp will be full of orchestra rehearsals, sectionals, and fun!  Learn new music and skills. Rehearse alongside friends and meet new ones from all corners of the KC metro area.
Join this year's clinicians and conductors Sheri Cain, Marie Coleman and Russ Pieken.
Registration/tuition includes all music, instruction, camp t shirt, snacks and pizza lunch on final camp day.

Monday, June 22 - Friday, June 26, 2020
9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Early registration is recommended.  Register by June 3, 2019
$220.00 non-refundable registration fee is due at the completion of this form. *

By completing and submitting this form, I, PARENT, hereby release Youth Symphony Association of Kansas City, Inc., its employees and agents, from any claims for damages from personal injury to MUSICIAN or loss of property; and authorize the employees and agents of the Youth Symphony to obtain medical care for MUSICIAN in the event of an emergency, including transportation by ambulance. I understand that Youth Symphony does not guarantee an allergy-free environment and that the request for personal allergy information is solely for informational purposes in the event an emergency situation occurs.  I indemnify Youth Symphony for the costs of medical care or other damages arising from MUSICIAN participating in Youth Symphony.

Youth Symphony of Kansas City Communication Policy
  1. Youth Symphony reserves the right to audio and/or video record and/or photograph any and all activities for later use which may include printed or electronic materials and/or radio/television/online broadcast.
  2. Musician and/or Parent likeness, either in print, electronically or in audio or video recordings, may be used for any purpose, with or without the use of name, school, grade and other pertinent information, and without remuneration, by Youth Symphony and its assigns for the purpose of internal and external communications.

Parents/students are responsible for any/all transportation to and from rehearsals and concerts.
All participants will receive more detailed information, including music, sent via email a few weeks before the first date of camp.
