Thank you for your interest in being a Marshall Boats Captian! This position consists of driving groups of all kinds around Lake Mendota in a variety of weather conditions on one of our new Bentley Pontoons. Minimum requirements are: Must be 18+ and should have boating expereince as well as experinece with the hospitality industry. You must be comfortable working individually and be ready to adapt and problem solve as needed.

Please share your boating experience. What kind of boats do you have experience driving? How often would you drive/hrs?

Describe how you would dock a large boat in windy conditions. The wind is 15+mph from the west. You're dropping off a family with young children and grandparents. What types of safety measures would you take and how would you interact with the guests?

Describe some of the bad conditions you have boated in and how you navigated the situation. Share how you handled the boat as well as how you managed the people you were with to maintain their safety. *

As a captain you will also serve the roll of tour guide and do your best to ensure all people have a great experience on the water. Please tell me about any experiences you have in leading groups or tours?
