UNDER 18 FORM

All international students who will be under 18 years of age when they commence their course must prove they have adequate accommodation and welfare arrangements in place to obtain a student visa. A student under 18 that is not living with a parent or an approved relative will need the institution to approve their accommodation and welfare arrangements and issue a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) form together with an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE). The form is to be filled out by the student’s parent/legal guardian when the student will be under 18 years of age at the commencement of their course. If the Institution approves a CAAW form for the student under 18, they cannot travel to Australia before the commencement date of their welfare arrangements, as per the details contained in the CAAW.

The form must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the commencement of the course, together with proof of payment for on campus accommodation OR an agreement with a homestay provider AND an agreement with ISA for welfare services.
