Bichon Rescue of Orange County

FOSTER APPLICATION

In order to become a BROC Foster, you must not have an unfenced pool or water feature. Do not apply if you have an unfenced pool or water feature. If you plan to fence your pool or water feature please do so BEFORE applying.

Thank you for your interest in fostering one of our special bichon pups. Upon receiving your completed application below, we will contact you to review your application and schedule a home visit. We look forward to working with you.

Your answers to these questions will not determine whether or not you would be a suitable foster parent. They will, however, help us to determine what kind of dog would be appropriate. Our foster homes are the foundation of Bichon Rescue of Orange County, and we want you and your dog to have a successful experience.

Thank you,

BROC Leadership Team

I understand that the term ‘foster’ refers to a volunteer who chooses to render services to Bichon Rescue of Orange County (BROC), providing temporary homing for a rescue animal, while waiting for an approved adopter. I agree to hold BROC harmless for any injury (injuries) or disease(s) that I, or my household, may sustain as a result of handling rescues during the course of my foster duties.

As a foster, I agree to comply with BROC’s requirements regarding the provision of foster care. I also agree that BROC may, at any time during reasonable hours, visit my home to verify that I am complying with BROC’s fostering requirements. Further, I agree that while in my custody, the rescue dog remains the property of BROC, the rescue’s disposition is at the sole discretion of BROC and upon request, I will immediately relinquish the rescue to an authorized representative of BROC.

I further understand that as a volunteer, I will be notified of all BROC activities and events. I am at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
