CIT PROGRAM (Teens entering 9th & 10th grade)

The Art Camp's C.I.T  (Counselor-in-Training) program is for junior teens, ages 14 to 15 years of age (teens entering 9th & 10th grades). This is a five-day a week program. Our program provides teenagers the opportunity to work closely with children, peers and adults in a fun, artistic setting. It also provides a valuable opportunity to develop their leadership skills and broaden their horizons while being involved in camp-related activities. We believe that our C.I.T program is a tremendous learning experience for all who are involved.  Our C.I.T program will help expand these young adults abilities all in preparation to becoming a future Art Camp Workshop Assistant. Many C.I.T.'s use their volunteer experience at camp to fulfill any school-required community service hours.
This is a five-day a week program. CITS will work M-F for either the first 4 weeks of camp ("session 1") or the last 4 weeks of camp ("session 2")

If you are a 14 year old (entering 9th grade) you must commit to EITHER session 1 or 2 (M-F)
If you are a 15 year old (entering 10th grade) you can commit to session 1, 2 or both (M-F)

SESSION 1: June 22- July 17- CLOSED

SESSION 2: July 20- Aug 14- OPEN

*Please note- Session 1 is CLOSED. We still have room in Session 2! However, if you would like to be added to the waitlist for Session 1 please email JENN:

*Also, the CAMPERS (ages 5-11) will be attending camp by the week (M-F) this year, not by sessions. However the STAFF (JCIT/CIT/Counselors/Teachers) will still attend based off 4 week sessions (like usual). You must commit to the set of dates listed above! Thanks!
