If a student volunteer is unable to follow the above guidelines or perform the tasks assigned to them, they may be dismissed from the program at anytime.
Sign in, check on job assignment and begin set up
Possible duties include (but not limited to): setting up table games, playing games with children, awarding prizes, organizing art supplies and artwork, maintaining grounds and cleaning up trash.
Student volunteers will set up their station with help from parent volunteer and remain there for the duration of festival. Switching to another station is allowed only if the parent volunteer coordinator has approved a change AND all other job requirements have been fulfilled.
Student volunteers will remain at assigned station until clean up time
IMPORTANT: due to several acute allergies, SSDS follows a strict NO NUTS policy for foods. While at SSDS, no one (teacher, student volunteer, or program participant) is permitted to eat any foods made with nuts.
If all duties have been satisfactorily completed, student volunteers will be dismissed by a teacher. At the end of the day the student must report to the Program Coordinator for follow up.
