Pinecrest Pavilion 2024
  • Session 1: June 17-21 (4-day session because of Juneteenth, camp is prorated to reflect 4-day model)

  • Session 2: June 24-28

  • Closed/no camp: July 1-5

  • Session 3: July 8-12

  • Session 4: July 15-19

  • Session 5: July 22-26

  • Session 6: July 29- August 2

  • Pinecrest Pavilion offers rising K-6th grade campers a fun-filled day of in-person play and learning, with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, STEAM experiments and nature discovery, games and puzzles, making and building, and more! Preschool campers will enjoy a morning of in-person fun as described above (with after-care available if needed).
  • We are running 7 camp sessions each 1-week in length.
  • K-6 sessions are full-day, from 8:50 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. These sessions are open to children in rising K-6th grade and to rising 7th graders who are recent Pinecrest graduates or former campers.
  • Preschool sessions are half-day, from 8:50 a.m to 12:05 p.m. These sessions are open to children who are 4 by September 30, who have attended preschool previously, and who are potty-trained. Children currently enrolled in the school's Preschool 3 class are eligible for preschool camp sessions.
  • Drop-off for all campers begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • After-care for all campers is available until 6:00 p.m.
  • We are also exploring the possibility of adding a before-care option if staffing supports this; we will not know the answer to this until closer to the start of the summer. If we are able to offer before-care, we anticipate it would run from 8-8:30 a.m. Before-care is not something we can guarantee at this time.
 
 
FEES:
  • Camp fee is $400 per 1-week session for K-6 and $200 per 1-week session for preschool. The first week of camp with the Juneteenth holiday is prorated.
  • After-care for all ages is available until 6 pm at 14/hour if needed.
  • There is a non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee of $50 per child.
  • There is a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $200 per child required at the time of registration.
  • After Friday, March 15, 2024 no drops or changes will be allowed, no refunds will be given, and parents/guardians are responsible for paying in full for all sessions for which your child is registered.
  • There is a sibling discount of 15% off the total due for each sibling registered after the first child. This will show on the invoice due May 10, 2024, not on the initial $250 payment. This invoice will be emailed to you approximately one month before the final payment due date.
  • Required camp forms (including, but not limited to, the Virginia School Entrance Health Form and the 2024 medical/emergency form) are also due by Friday, May 10, 2024. These forms will be emailed to registered families well before the due date.
  • A $50 late fee will be assessed for final balance payments and/or required health forms received after the due date.
  • Fees are not prorated for absences or partially-attended sessions.

$250 is due at the time of registration for all campers; remaining balance due by May 10.

 
If this online form allows you to select and register for a session, your child is confirmed in that session. A message of "Insufficient Quantity Remaining" on this form means a session is full; you can email programs@pinecrestschool.org if you would like your child to be placed on a wait list should this occur. 
 

Sessions (one form per child)

Preschool = your child has attended Pinecrest School Preschool 3 class in the current school year and/or your child will be 4 years old by 9/30/2024 and has attended preschool before. All preschool campers must be fully potty trained. 
 
Rising grade level = the grade your child will be in for the 2024-25 school year 
 
The amount of camper spaces varies from week to week based on staffing availability; it is possible more spaces could open up between now and summer. If you try to register for a session and see the "insufficient quantity remaining" message, that means all spaces have been taken at this time. Please email Ms. Sawyer at programs@pinecrestschool.org to be placed on a wait list should this occur; if more space opens up as we get closer to the summer, Ms. Sawyer can let you know.

Photos and videos are taken regularly at school and camp. I understand that with the completion and submission of this summer camp registration form to Pinecrest School that my child’s photo and/or video will be shared with the school or camp community and could be used in school or camp brochures, ads, media coverage, on the school website, on the school's social media sites, et cetera. Names are never used with student photos or videos. Additionally, Pinecrest School does not share families’ contact information with third parties. *

The due date is Friday, May 10, 2024 • A $25 fee will be charged for returned checks or disputed online payments. • Fees are not prorated for absences or partially-attended sessions. • If you do not pay when you submit your child's registration form your child's unpaid registration will be deleted within a few hours. To be assured that your child's space in summer camp is reserved you should have received an email from Formsite, and see the charge reflected on your credit card statement and/or your bank account. *
● Provide all required forms by Friday, May 10, 2024, or within 7 days of registering after this date. If you register later than 7 days prior to the start date, forms must be submitted by the first day of the first session your child attends. ● Children without proper paperwork will not be allowed to attend until all forms are submitted, and a $50 late fee will be assessed. *
