GI Bill 75th Anniversary

June 22nd marks the 75th Anniversary of the GI Bill, and VA wants you – all Veterans, service members, and your families from all generations – to share your story of how the GI bill has made a difference in your lives.

Millions of Veterans and families like you have benefited from the GI Bill, which made low-interest mortgages available, granted stipends covering tuition and expenses for Veterans attending college or trade schools and provided unemployment pay.

Upload a short video (less than 3 minutes), or provide a link to your video using this site from March 1, 2019 through June 22, 2019. Note: files must be less than 200 MB.

No personal information will be shared with the public, only your video.

We’ll be featuring stories from March through September and your video may be posted online along with other Veterans stories as VA celebrates this important milestone.
