Planned Giving

Planned gifts to PSIA-AASI Eastern Region's Education Foundation (EIN: 22-2393576), a 501(c)(3) organization will help create lifelong adventures through education for members now and into the future. The Foundation awards many scholarships to members wishing to further their education in alpine, adaptive, children's, snowboard, and nordic education. The Foundation also funds research, educational projects and outreach programs.

If you are considering a planned gift, first meet with your attorney to draft or update your will. If you are an executor, estate administrator, trust officer or other professional assisting with distributing assets for an estate that includes a gift to the Education Foundation our you have questions you may contact Kathy Brennan, CEO at kbrennan@psia-e.org or call 518-452-6095 and we will help you to draft the best language to achieve your goals.

If you have already included the Education Foundation in your estate plan, please complete the form below so we may thank you and ensure your gift is used exactly as you intend.

Your gift may be made for a specific dollar amount, percentage, or for the balance of your estate. You may give cash, personal property, real estate, securities, insurance policies, or retirement plan assets.

You may make a planned gift by:

Naming the Professional Ski Instructors of America Eastern Education Foundation as a beneficiary in your will or trust for a percent of your cash assets.
Naming the Professional Ski Instructors of America Eastern Education Foundation as a beneficiary in your retirement plan or life insurance policy.
Naming the Professional Ski Instructors of America Eastern Education Foundation through a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust.

Make a bequest in your will or trust by including wording such as:

A general gift: "I give (_______ dollars) (or a specific asset) (or ________ percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate) to the Professional Ski Instructors of America Eastern Division Education Foundation, a non-profit organization with offices at 5 Columbia Circle, Albany, NY for its general purposes."

A gift for a specific purpose: "I give (_______ dollars) (or a specific asset) (or ________ percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate) to the Professional Ski Instructors of America Eastern Division Education Foundation, a non-profit organization with offices at 5 Columbia Circle, Albany, NY to be used for the following purpose: (state the purpose, e.g. women's scholarships.)"
