The Advanced Educator Program is a certificate-based program for all Certified Alpine instructors. This program requires commitment, as well as a sense of purpose for developing professionally. Some Advanced Educator courses are only open to Level II and Level III members; therefore, candidates must be at least Level II Certified to attain the Advanced Educator certificate.

Achieving the certificate will require the participant to complete 8 courses.  Candidates have five seasons to complete the requirements from the time they declare interest. Any member who completes all the courses will be awarded a program certificate AND the option to attend a level III Teaching or Tech/MA assessment module free of charge.  

The required courses are as follows:

History Module:

* One day on snow History course, History of Skiing e-Learning, or History of Snowboarding e-Learning  

Physiology & Equipment Modules:

* Applied Anatomy Indoor Course OR Alpine Skiing Mechanics 

* On Snow Basic OR Intensive Stance & Alignment 

Teaching & Technical /MA Modules:

* Children's Specialist 2 

* Movement Analysis 201 

* Coaching High End Skiing OR Practical Teaching 

Freestyle Module:

* Any on-snow Freestyle Event

Adaptive Module:

* Any on-snow Adaptive Event
