Nomination Form 2021: Boating Atlantic Board of Directors

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors and would like to contribute to the successful direction of Boating Atlanticplease consider seeking election yourself or nominating someone to the Board.

EXPECTATIONS OF BOARD MEMBERS

• must hold regular membership in Boating Atlantic; memberships are renewable annually.
• candidates must agree to make every effort to attend Boating Atlantic events, including Board meetings, the AGM, planning events, etc.
• agree to involvement (as chair or a member) of one of the following Boating Atlantic committees: Halifax International Boat Show Committee, Government Relations Committee, Marketing Committee, Training Committee and Membership Committee.
• attend Board meetings; a minimum of 4 meetings per year, at the call of the Chair
• attend Committee Commitments, at the call of the Chair

The Nominating Committee has determined that all nominations must be emailed to the Boating Atlantic Office before January 28, 2021. The slate of candidates will be presented to the membership at the 2020 Boating Atlantic Annual General Meeting, Thursday, January 28 on a ZOOM platform
