DESCRIPTION

At With Ribbons We Fight Foundation, we are looking to raise funds for direct support of cancer research. Working directly with local hospitals in the NY metropolitan area that have cancer research programs and furthering the future of cancer research while hoping to one day find a cure. We are also looking to set up a support system for local families in NY impacted by high medical bills due to cancer and assisting them in helping pay their medical bills.

REQUIREMENTS

The internship duration spans from December to May. All internship candidates will be considered as part of the general pool and then interviewed and assigned to specific departments as specified by the applicant and as deemed appropriate by the organization.

LENGTH OF PROGRAM AND HOURS

20 hours per week depending on availability. Please note the possibility of working weekends leading up to and during fashion week.

After completing the internship program, the President will provide an evaluation/recommendation for reference.

DESCRIPTION

At With Ribbons We Fight Foundation, we are looking to raise funds for direct support of cancer research. REQUIREMENTS

Seeking ambitious, driven, detail oriented, candidate who will be mentored by a seasoned event planning professional and has the ability to train/work in a team educational environment. The candidate will demonstrate an ability to think creatively, strategically and communicate efficiently internally and externally. The candidate will benefit from the internship experience by mentoring and working with experienced professionals. The internship experience will prepare the student to enter the workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to President and Event Coordinator 
  • Assist Event Coordinator in preparing for Charity gala 
  • Greet guests and assist with check-in at event
  • assist with working with vendors and help create loading schedule 
  • Answer phone calls
  • Prioritize projects
